Kerameikos, the ancient cemetery of Athens, is one of the city’s most significant archaeological sites. The project aimed to create a modern and functional signage system that highlights the historical and cultural importance of the site. The design focuses on clarity, aesthetic harmony with the surroundings, and easy comprehension for visitors, providing information about monuments, pathways, and the site’s history. With respect for heritage and an emphasis on sustainability, the project enhances the visitor experience while contributing to the preservation of this cultural treasure.
